PayPal now has over 400 million active users worldwide, 113 million of whom live in Europe alone*. In Germany, too, PayPal has long since established itself as a common payment method.

Credit and debit card payments are a popular payment method. They give consumers a sense of security thanks to extensive insurance and high buyer protection. When you integrate credit and debit card payments into your online store, you offer customers around the world the payment method of their choice. Mollie supports all of the world's leading credit card brands. Using a credit card and a debit card are similar. However, unlike credit cards, debit cards debit the amount directly from the customer's bank account. Some customers prefer this payment method because they can track their purchases in real time. With Klarna: Pay now, customers can make one-off transactions securely and immediately using their own online banking data. In doing so, they pay via Klarna Sofortüberweisung or direct debit. As a merchant, you receive a real-time transaction confirmation and can immediately ship the goods to your clientele. You benefit from the payout guarantee. You will receive the payout five business days after the order has been shipped. Klarna assumes the full credit and fraud risk.

As a consumer-oriented company, Klarna bases variables such as cost and availability of its products on your customer's location. Depending on the merchant, the invoice is sent either by email, separately by mail or together with the goods. You can view all your invoices at any time here or in the Klarna app.

If you are not satisfied with your merchandise, you can "report a problem" in the Klarna app so that your bill is paused until you have been able to resolve your concern with the merchant.

Good to know: You can always find the payment date or payment information of your invoice here or in the app. Easily check in the app if your payment has been received for your invoice. We recommend you to make all your payments directly in the Klarna app to avoid possible wrong transfers or reminders.

The prices listed in the respective offers are final prices. They include all price components including any applicable taxes such as VAT. Only in the case of cross-border delivery, further taxes (e.g. in the case of an intra-Community acquisition) and/or duties (e.g. customs duties) may be payable by you in individual cases, but not to the seller, but to the customs or tax authorities responsible there.
