Craftsmanship & Quality Since 1887

The skilled craftsmen at John Boos & Co. have been crafting all Boos Blocks®Chopping Board in Effingham, IL, USA,Chopping Board 1887. They use only high-quality, sustainably sourced hardwood from North American forests, which is processed using time-honored techniques.

Premium hardwood –Perfect for your kitchen

The North American hardwoods used are naturally well-suited for use as food preparation surfaces. They are exceptionally durable and also highly hygienic and food-safe, as they inhibit bacterial growth and are odorless and tasteless. In addition, the blades of high-quality knives are less likely to become dull when used on wooden surfaces than on other materials.

Functionality through design

Boos Blocks® wooden cutting boards andChopping Board offer different features depending on the model. However, almost all of them are reversible and bear the NSF® seal of approval for food safety, hygiene, and quality in the U.S. In addition, the wooden boards differ, for example, in their basic construction (long-grain or End Grain Construction) or through additional features such as recessed finger grooves, juice grooves, stainless steel handles, or special drip trays.
