The "PCA" Block is perfect for the culinary enthusiast at home. It combines a solid, classic butcher block with an elegant design that features a 25 cm thick block of hard maple face wood with four square, slightly tapered legs. Each block is made to order and carefully crafted to Boos' famous end-grain design from select pieces of premium kiln-dried hardwood. Boos' end-grain wood construction is extremely solid and sturdy, resistant to scratches and scuffs, and absorbs pressure from knife blades, keeping them sharper and protected longer. The "PCA" block comes with a wooden knife holder for easy storage and access to knives, making it a one-stop shop for the home chef. It is available in a variety of sizes from 46 x 46 cm to 76 x 76 cm and in three types of wood: hard maple, black walnut and American cherry. You have a choice of natural or painted or stained legs (see color options), and you can equip your block with casters to move it wherever it's needed in the kitchen. Your "PCA" block will last a lifetime, if not generations, provided you care for it properly.
